The program involves a thorough assessment provided by a physiotherapist followed by an in depth exercise intervention program delivered by a kinesiologist under the supervision and direction of the physio.
Note: If you are new to this program, you must book a 30 minute Physio Rehab Assessment with one of our physiotherapists before booking any subsequent appointments.
Concussion and Vestibular Physiotherapy
Our in-depth and detailed assessment includes a symptom report, cognitive screen, balance assessment, exertion therapy assessment and a vestibulo-ocular screen using the latest infrared goggle technology. Vestibular rehabilitation focuses on improving the relationship between the brain, eyes, inner ear, muscles and nerves post-concussion. I have been involved with sports for 40years. Current sports I enjoy are: strength training, trail running, road running, mountain biking and triathlon.
I started strength training because I realized that it would help me to be able to do all the sports I love longer in life. But it turns out that I love my time strength training too!
Upon completing my precision nutrition qualification to help balance endurance running and strength training - I realized that there is so much more to learn in this industry and have since completed my personal training certification and have a few more lined up for this year too.
As an athlete, it’s my goal to run an ultra marathon in 2022. Buckin Hell in North Vancouver or the Wild Horse Traverse in Kelowna. But along the way, I’d like to start working with and inspiring those who are new to running and want to learn more about blending the strength and endurance world together for health, fun, injury prevention and longevity.
If I’m not out with my little Dog, Rudy you will find me out and about with Hubby on the back of the motorbike. We love travelling around on it. Coolest trip was to Moab for our wedding anniversary a few years ago. Rented mtb and rode the red rock. So sweet.
Best thing about exercise - is the confidence I have gained!

Noah Spence
Noah is originally from Red Mountain (Rossland, B.C.). After moving around the world with his parents as a kid, Noah’s family finally settled in North Vancouver where he finished high school. During this time Noah earned provincial and rep appearances in Snowboarding, Tae Kwon Do, rugby, football, and baseball.
After an unfortunate neck injury in a local snowboard competition, Noah underwent extensive rehab himself and decided to focus on pursuing rugby. After two seasons playing amateur rugby in Auckland (NZ) Noah had another significant back injury which only solidified his appreciation and passion for quality rehabilitation. This also when he decided to go back to school and help others with their own rehabilitation journeys.
While earning his Honours degree from UBC, Noah took up several volunteer positions in the neurological rehab space, completed a pilot on concussion incidence testing in contact sport through the university’s sensorimotor lab, and played rugby for UBC. During his degree he also started working as a high-performance strength and conditioning coach at an athletic centre in North Vancouver.
After several years working with elite developmental, professional, and Olympic level clientele in an active rehab and performance-based capacity, Noah wanted to be able to facilitate greater and more long-lasting change to how people perceive, negotiate with, and overcome injury & illness. He completed his Masters of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Queensland (AU).
Noah uses his unique athletic, personal, and professional background to leverage client performance issues early in the rehab process to progress clients off the treatment table and efficiently return to their sport or performance activities within the shortest timeframe possible. Built into this approach is the added benefit of providing clients tools for self- management to avoid future or recurrent injuries and facilitate patients’ agency in their healthcare seeking and management choices.
